Had a great time with my daughter and grandkids. Breakfast was awesome with real waffles and bacon! The shower had great pressure and hot water. Friendly staff too. Ice machine was easy to find. Room had everything: flat-screen TV, microwave, and free toiletries. Fitness center was cool and loved the hot tub.

Just a good pick for a weekend stopover in Destin with excellent value for money. Breakfast staff was very pleasant.

Great free breakfast with a variety of options, friendly staff, comfy beds, good location for walking and shopping.
Felt very lucky, no complaints whatsoever.

the rooms were comfortable with a nice bed, although the so-called pillows were not up to par. the hotel was close to everything but peaceful, and the staff were lovely, especially the desk girls. the breakfast was better than average, and the check-in was easy.

I chose Wingate for its proximity to the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, and I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service. The free daily hot breakfast with fresh waffles was a delightful start to each day, and the hotel's location near many local restaurants and the entertainment and dining at Destin Harbor added extra convenience to my stay.
Outdated fridge; uncomfortable beds.
